Accreditation
CBA at Kuwait University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) among 910 business institutions in 58 countries. Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools providing quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to achieve the goal of creating the next generation of great leaders. AACSB Accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. AACSB-accredited schools produce graduates who are highly skilled and more desirable to employers than other non-accredited schools. Kuwait University’s College of Business Administration first achieved undergraduate accreditation in 2005 and is the first to do so among business schools in Kuwait.
Academic institutions that embed a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK)—including the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct—into their curriculum may be eligible to participate in the University Affiliation Program. An Affiliated University signals to their students and to employers that their curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA® Program exams.
